- Do not use a tampon for more than 8 hours at a time. Prolonged use may rarely cause TSS (toxic shock syndrome).
- About TSS: If you experience sudden high fever (39°C or higher), vomiting, diarrhea, muscle pain, dizziness, or other symptoms while using a tampon, immediately remove the tampon and see a doctor right away.
- Avoid use within 8 weeks postpartum and during the first menstruation after childbirth.
- Do not use except during menstruation. Use panty liners for discharge and other purposes.
- Never cut the tampon string. There is a risk of being unable to remove it.
