Frequently Asked Questions
Which should I choose: Suppository ointment, ointment, or suppository?
If internal hemorrhoids are the main symptom, suppositories or Suppository ointment are suitable. For external (external hemorrhoids or surrounding skin) only, ointment is easier to apply. For those with both internal and external symptoms or who also want disinfection, Suppository ointment offers the widest coverage.
When is the best time to use the Suppository ointment?
Recommended timing is after morning bowel movements, after bathing, and before bedtime. Use about 1-2 times a day (insertion) and 1-3 times a day (application).
Can I use one tube for both insertion and application?
Do not reuse the tube used for insertion directly for application. For hygiene reasons, it is recommended to use separate tubes for insertion and application.
Is it safe to use steroids included in this product for a long time?
The prednisolone acetate included is the weakest "Weak class" steroid. However, avoid continuous use and limit use to 10 days. If no improvement or side effects are suspected, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
Can I use this with other over-the-counter hemorrhoid medicines?
Avoid using with other hemorrhoid medicines as ingredients may overlap. For use with other general OTC drugs, please consult a pharmacist or registered seller before use.
