The three-layer structure of tears that retains moisture
Tears are formed by three layers: the oil layer, the aqueous layer, and the mucin layer. The oil layer prevents evaporation of tears, the aqueous layer contains a lot of oxygen and nutrients, and the mucin layer helps keep tears on the surface of the eye. Each tear layer plays its role to maintain moisture on the surface of the eye.
When tears are insufficient…
When the balance of the three tear layers is disrupted, dry spots (areas lacking tears) appear. This exposes the corneal surface, causing the eyes to dry out and become more susceptible to strain. As a result, various uncomfortable symptoms such as fatigue, irritation (pain, sensitivity to light), heavy eyes, and discharge occur.
"New Rohto Dry Aid EX" is an ultra-high viscosity eye drop that focuses on balancing the three tear layers. The thick liquid forms a tear film to retain moisture and exhibits excellent effects against dry eyes.

Instill 1 to 2 drops, 3 to 4 times a day.

(2) Do not let the tip of the container touch the eyes, eyelids, or eyelashes.

2. If the following symptoms appear after use, they may be side effects. Stop use immediately and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered seller with this leaflet.

Skin: rash, redness, itching
Eyes: redness, itching, swelling, stinging pain
3. Stop use and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered seller with this leaflet if:
(1) Blurred vision does not improve
(2) Symptoms do not improve after about 2 weeks of use
●Precautions for Storage and Handling
(1) Store tightly closed in a cool place away from direct sunlight. To maintain quality, do not leave in high-temperature places (above 40°C) such as inside a car or near heating appliances.
(2) Keep out of reach of children.
(3) Do not transfer to other containers. (This may cause misuse or change quality)
(4) Do not share with others.
(5) Do not use products past the expiration date (printed on the outer box). Even within the expiration date, use as soon as possible after opening.
(6) Depending on storage conditions, crystals of ingredients may form on the tip of the container or inside the cap. In such cases, gently wipe with a clean gauze before use.
(7) Do not put other substances into the container.
*To maintain moisture, the solution is made viscous. Therefore, vision may be blurred for a while after instillation, so please be careful.
