◆ Taisho Quick Care Aphthous Stomatitis Ointment is an ointment developed for the treatment of aphthous stomatitis. It adheres well to the affected area and covers the lesion for a long time even inside the oral cavity.
◆ "Aphthous stomatitis (aphthous)" refers to a general term for inflammation characterized by one or several small, shallow, painful ulcers (less than 10mm in diameter) with a whitish circular center and reddish surrounding area, occurring on the inside of the cheeks, tongue, or inside of the lips. The cause is unclear, but stress, fatigue, or nutritional imbalance are said to be involved.

●Dosage and Administration
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area 1 to several times a day.

<Precautions related to Dosage and Administration>
(1) Strictly follow the prescribed dosage and administration.
(2) When used for children, use under the guidance and supervision of a guardian.
(3) This product is for oral use only; do not use it for purposes other than oral use.
(4) Do not use for purposes other than treatment, such as denture adhesion.
(5) Stop use when the pain subsides.

●Precautions for Use
■Do not do (Contraindications)
(If not followed, current symptoms may worsen or side effects may occur more easily)
Do not use if you fall under the following:
(1) Suspected infectious stomatitis.
(Consult a doctor, dentist, pharmacist, or registered seller)
・White patches that can be easily peeled off with gauze and spread throughout the oral cavity. (Suspected candidiasis)
・Yellow pus on the affected area. (Suspected bacterial infection)
・Multiple small blisters the size of rice grains to azuki beans in the oral cavity, and blisters or rash on lips or skin outside the oral mucosa. (Suspected viral infection)
・Systemic symptoms such as fever, loss of appetite, general malaise, swollen lymph nodes. (Suspected viral infection)
(2) Presence of infection in the oral cavity.
(Do not use on areas with oral infections such as periodontitis or gingivitis, as steroid use may worsen infections)
(3) No improvement in symptoms after 5 days of use.
(4) Symptoms worsen after 1-2 days of use.

(2) Have had allergic reactions to medicines.
(3) Pregnant or think you may be pregnant.
(4) Breastfeeding.
(5) Have a wide affected area.
(6) Elderly.
2. If the following symptoms appear after use, they may be side effects; stop use immediately and consult a doctor, dentist, pharmacist, or registered seller with this leaflet.

Oral cavity: white patches (suspected candidiasis), yellow pus on affected area (suspected bacterial infection)
Others: allergic symptoms (bronchial asthma attack, edema, etc.)
3. If the following symptoms appear after use, infection-related stomatitis or stomatitis due to other diseases is suspected; stop use and consult a doctor, dentist, pharmacist, or registered seller with this leaflet.
Fever, loss of appetite, general malaise, swollen lymph nodes, blisters (outside oral cavity), rash/redness, itching, widespread oral lesions, eye pain, blurred vision, genital ulcers

●Precautions for Storage and Handling
(1) Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
(2) Keep out of reach of children.
(3) Do not transfer to another container.
(May cause misuse or quality changes)
(4) Do not use products past the expiration date. Even within the expiration date, use as soon as possible after opening. (To maintain quality)
