Daiichi Sankyo Healthcare was established as the OTC division of the major pharmaceutical company Daiichi Sankyo Group and has long provided medicines supporting consumer health. The Piroace Z series obtained manufacturing and marketing approval in 2006 as the first combination product in Japan containing the antifungal ingredient lanoconazole, which became a switched OTC drug, combined with other ingredients. It is available in liquid, ointment, and cream forms, allowing selection according to the condition of the affected area.
