What kind of medicine is Hainosan?

Hainosan is a Kampo medicine that improves pus and inflammation. It is recommended for gingivitis where the gums swell and pus is discharged. "Hainosan" is made from three types of crude drugs: Kijitsu (Fructus Aurantii), Shakuyaku (Peony root), and Kikyo (Platycodon root). This formula is described in the Chinese book "Jin Kui Yao Lue" from around the 3rd century and works to reduce inflammation and swelling in suppurative affected areas and to discharge pus.

These are easy-to-take tablets made from carefully selected crude drugs.

JPS Pharmaceutical carries out integrated production at its own factory in Tochigi Prefecture. The purchased crude drugs are chopped and blended, then extracted into an extract in the same way as decocting Kampo medicine, and finished into tablet form. Not only the crude drugs but also the water used for extraction are carefully selected, using water drawn from the Kinugawa River, purified within the factory.

Hainosan improves skin diseases with pus formation, gingivitis, and tonsillitis in relatively robust individuals. It works to reduce inflammation and discharge pus.
This product extracts the crude drugs of the traditional Chinese medicine formula Hainosan, makes a dried extract, and then forms it into easy-to-take tablets.

【Class 2 OTC Drug】

●Efficacy/Effects
For those with moderate or higher physical strength and pus formation at the affected area, the following conditions: early or mild purulent skin diseases, gingivitis, tonsillitis

●Dosage and Administration
Take the following amount with water or hot water before meals or between meals.

Adults (15 years and older): 3 tablets: 3 times
7 years and older but under 15 years: 2 tablets: 3 times
5 years and older but under 7 years: 1 tablet: 3 times
Under 5 years: Do not take

(1) When giving to children, administer under the guidance and supervision of a guardian.
(2) "Between meals" means 2 to 3 hours after eating.
