About Senna
Senna has long been used as a laxative in Europe. It does not soften stool but acts on the large intestine to relieve constipation, improving various symptoms associated with laxative constipation common in women. Senna is listed in the Japanese Pharmacopoeia (JP), the official standard for medicines established by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.

Features of Senna
Point 1
Senna is a medicinal herb native to Africa, containing a type of anthraquinone called 'sennoside' in its leaves and fruit. It has been used as a highly effective laxative for constipation since ancient times and is a highly reliable laxative.
Point 2
Sennosides, the unique components of senna, are broken down in the intestines and converted into a substance called rhein anthrone. This substance stimulates the mucous membrane of the large intestine, activating 'peristaltic movement' and promoting bowel movements.
Point 3
Senna does not soften stool but acts on the intestines, stimulating intestinal peristalsis, making it effective for laxative constipation common in women. Especially women tend to become constipated due to the natural movement of the intestines slowing down, so it is said that using senna can easily relieve this.
How to take
This is a type to be boiled in hot water and drunk. You can drink it like tea, but it is a proper medicine, so it has a definite effect. Please boil it in a kettle or pot.
