Sante FX AL is an allergy-specific eye drop (Class 2 OTC drug) for itchy eyes caused by pollen, house dust, and other allergens. Sodium cromoglicate helps suppress histamine release, chlorpheniramine maleate helps suppress histamine action, and epsilon-aminocaproic acid helps suppress the production of substances involved in inflammation. AFX AL contains sodium cromoglicate, which helps suppress the release of histamine, a substance involved in allergies. It is formulated specifically for allergy symptoms from pollen, house dust, and similar triggers. FX Neo and V Plus do not contain allergy-specific ingredients, so FX AL is better suited for addressing itch.
QCan I use it while wearing contact lenses?
ANo. It cannot be used while wearing either hard or soft lenses. Remove lenses before instilling. If you want drops you can use while wearing contacts, please use Sante FX Contact.
QCan I use it outside pollen season?
AYes. It addresses a variety of year-round allergens such as house dust and animal dander. As the name AL (All season) suggests, it can be used regardless of the season.
QHow many times a day can I use it?
AThe dosage is 1–2 drops per use, 4–6 times daily. Other FX series products are 5–6 times daily, while FX AL is 4–6 times.

AIt can be used under parental guidance and supervision. Consult a doctor before use in infants and young children.
QDoes it work for redness too?
AAminocaproic acid and sodium cromoglicate help address allergy-related redness (from inflammation). However, it does not contain tetrahydrozoline hydrochloride (a vasoconstrictor), so rapid redness relief via vessel constriction should not be expected.
