Astophylin S is a cough suppressant and expectorant that contains ingredients to dilate constricted bronchi, suppress cough occurrence, and control allergies. It is effective for "cough accompanied by wheezing (wheezing, whistling)" and "phlegm."
Astophylin S is an easy-to-swallow sugar-coated tablet.

Take the following amount with water or hot water after each meal.

1. Do not use any of the following medicines while taking this drug:
Other cough suppressants and expectorants, cold medicines, sedatives, oral medicines containing antihistamines (oral medicines for rhinitis, motion sickness medicines, allergy medicines, etc.)
2. Do not drive vehicles or operate machinery after taking this medicine.
(Drowsiness, etc. may occur.)
3. Nursing mothers should either not take this medicine or avoid breastfeeding if taking this medicine.
■Consult
1. The following people should consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered seller before taking this medicine:
(1) Those receiving medical treatment from a doctor
(2) Pregnant women or those who may be pregnant
(3) Elderly people
(4) Those who have had allergic symptoms caused by medicines, etc.
(5) Those with the following symptoms:
High fever, difficulty urinating
(6) Those diagnosed with:
Heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, glaucoma, thyroid dysfunction, epilepsy

4. If symptoms do not improve after taking 5 to 6 doses, stop taking the medicine and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered seller with this leaflet.

●Precautions for Storage and Handling
(1) Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
(2) Keep out of reach of children.
(3) Do not transfer to another container. Also, do not put other medicines, etc. into this container. (This may cause misuse or change the quality.)
(4) Handle with care as this medicine may break if dropped or subjected to impact.
(5) There is a desiccant inside the container. Do not take it.
(6) If moisture touches the tablets, part of the surface may dissolve, causing discoloration or spots. Do not touch with wet hands. Also, do not return wet tablets to the original container as it may affect other tablets.
(7) Do not use products past the expiration date.
(8) Even within the expiration date, once the container cap is opened, use within 6 months for quality assurance. Write the opening date in the "Opening Date" section on the inner lid of the box.
(9) When closing the cap lid, press until you hear a click.
(10) When the number of tablets remaining is low, they may be hard to take out. Remove the cap body to take them out.
