● Features
Koukando Kampo Constipation Medicine contains the Kampo formula "Daio-Kanzo-To," which combines the crude drugs rhubarb and licorice as its main ingredients. This Kampo formula is listed in the "Jinkui Yoryaku" and has been widely used as a laxative since ancient times. Licorice controls the action of rhubarb and regulates the function of the large intestine. When taken before bedtime, it is a laxative that can be expected to produce gentle bowel movements the next morning.
