Did you know? The "body fluid" that comes from the wound area
has healing properties.
When you get injured, body fluid comes from the wound area, which contains factors that help heal the wound. Maximizing the effect of this fluid to heal the wound quickly is called "Moist Healing."
By preventing the wound area from drying, a moist environment is maintained where body fluid is sufficiently retained.
The factors that repair the wound work actively, regenerating the epidermis and healing the wound quickly.
Recently gaining attention, this new wound care principle focuses on healing wounds without forming scabs, known as "Moist Healing." Introduced by Dr. Winter in the UK in 1962, research has continued and it is now widely adopted in medical settings.
Traditionally, the method of healing by forming scabs was referred to as "Dry Healing."
When the wound area is exposed to air, the body fluid dries out and cells die, causing the wound area to become scabbed over.
With only a small amount of body fluid left beneath the scab, wound repair capabilities are not sufficient, leading to slower healing.
Fits around fingers and flexion points, reduces peeling and is water-resistant
The tape part uses a high-density polyurethane non-woven fabric "CareleaveTM material," which is about half the thickness of conventional fibers. This enables it to fit snugly around flexion points, preventing peeling and minimizing gaps between the finger and tape, making it difficult for water to enter during work.
Gentle on areas surrounding the wound

Low-irritation adhesive that reduces peeling of corneocytes
Peeling of corneocytes from the skin surface when removing can also cause skin irritation. CareleaveTM Healing PowerTM reduces stimulation from changing the product by minimizing corneocyte peeling.
Shape
Sizes and shapes are available for everything from small wounds to large wounds, or even from fingers to heels.
