Normally, the eye surface is covered with tears. However, due to aging or reduced blinking during computer work, tears may become insufficient, causing "dry spots." The delicate cornea becomes exposed, making the eyes dry and more vulnerable.
When you open and close your eyelids, friction occurs between the inside of the eyelid and the exposed cornea, causing corneal damage. This leads to a gritty feeling and makes the eyes more prone to dryness.
Is the 'oil' in your tears decreasing with age?
Tears consist of three layers. The surface is covered by an oil layer that prevents tear evaporation. However, the function of the meibomian glands, which secrete oil, is said to decline with age. (Especially in women, oil secretion tends to decrease due to hormonal balance.)

The three-layer structure of tears that retains moisture
Tears are composed of three layers: the oil layer, the aqueous layer, and the mucin layer. The oil layer prevents tear evaporation, the aqueous layer contains abundant oxygen and nutrients, and the mucin layer helps keep tears on the surface of the eye. Each tear layer plays its role to maintain moisture on the eye’s surface.
When tears are insufficient…
If the balance of the three tear layers is disrupted, dry spots (areas lacking tears) form. This exposes the corneal surface, causing the eyes to dry out and become more susceptible to strain. As a result, various uncomfortable symptoms such as fatigue, irritation (pain, sensitivity to light), heavy eyes, and eye discharge may occur.

Supplementation of tear fluid (dry eyes), eye fatigue, blurred vision (such as when there is a lot of eye discharge), discomfort when wearing hard contact lenses

● Dosage and Administration
Instill 1 to 3 drops per application, 5 to 6 times a day.

(1) When used for children, use under the guidance and supervision of a guardian.
(2) Do not let the tip of the container touch the eyes, eyelids, or eyelashes.

● Precautions for Use
■ Consult
1. Before use, consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered seller if you:
(1) Are receiving medical treatment
(2) Have had allergic reactions to medicines before
(3) Have any of the following symptoms:
Severe eye pain
(4) Have been diagnosed with:
Glaucoma
2. If any of the following symptoms appear after use, stop using immediately and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered seller with this leaflet, as they may be side effects.
［Affected area: Symptoms］
Skin: rash, redness, itching
Eyes: redness, itching, swelling, stinging pain
3. Stop use and consult a doctor, pharmacist, or registered seller with this leaflet if:
(1) Blurred vision does not improve
(2) Symptoms do not improve after about 2 weeks of use
● Precautions for Storage and Handling
(1) Store tightly closed in a cool place away from direct sunlight. To maintain quality, do not leave in high-temperature places (above 40°C) such as inside a car or near heating devices.
(2) When closing the cap, turn it until it clicks.
(3) Keep out of reach of children.
(4) Do not transfer to another container (may cause misuse or quality changes).
(5) Do not share with others.
(6) Do not use after the expiration date (printed on the outer box). Even within the expiration date, use as soon as possible after opening.
(7) Depending on storage conditions, crystals of ingredients may form on the tip of the container or inside the cap. In such cases, gently wipe with a clean gauze before use.
(8) Do not put other substances into the container.
