Did you know? The "body fluid" from wounds
has healing properties.

When injured, body fluid is released from the wound, which contains factors that promote healing. Utilizing the power of this fluid to expedite healing is called "Moist Healing."

By preventing the wound from drying out, a moist environment is maintained, allowing body fluid to be preserved.

Factors that repair the wound become active, epidermis regenerates, and the wound heals quickly.

In recent years, a new approach to wound care has gained attention. This involves healing wounds without forming a scab, known as "Moist Healing." Since it was proposed by Dr. Winter in the UK in 1962, research has progressed, and it is now widely adopted in medical settings.

The traditional method of healing wounds by forming a scab was called "Dry Healing."

When the wound bed is exposed to air, the body fluid dries out and cells die, causing the wound to become scabbed.

The minimal body fluid left under the scab is insufficient for effective healing, leading to slower recovery.

Fits around fingers and bends easily, resistant to water

The tape uses a high-density polyurethane nonwoven fabric called "Careleave_TM Material," which is about half the thickness of traditional materials. It fits snugly around bends and is designed to minimize gaps between the fingers and the tape, making it less likely for water to enter even during wet work.

Gentle on skin beyond the wound

The wound is securely sealed with hydrocolloid. The area outside the wound is made of a high-density polyurethane nonwoven fabric that excels in moisture permeability, reducing skin irritation and stress around the wound.

Low irritant adhesive minimizes loss of skin cells

When removing the pad, the loss of skin surface cells is a major cause of skin irritation. Careleave_TM Healing Power_TM minimizes cell loss, reducing irritation from changing the pad.

How to Use

1　Before Application

1. 
   A wound occurred!

2. 
   Immediately rinse the wound with tap water
   ※ Use clean water for rinsing

3. 
   After washing, dry the area!
   ※ Avoid using antiseptics, disinfectants, or creams together

4. 
   Select a pad size larger than the wound

5. 
   Now, let's apply it!

 

2　During Application

1. 
   Peel off the center paper

2. 
   Place it on the wound

3. 
   Remove the remaining paper

4. 
   Press it down to adhere
   　

5. 
   For elbows and knees, apply while slightly bending

 

3　After Application

1. 
   After a while, the Moist Pad_TM will gel and swell white
   ※ The Moist Pad_TM absorbs and retains the body fluid (exudate) from the wound.

 

4　When Removing or Replacing

1. 
   Peel slowly along the direction of body hair to avoid damaging the skin

2. 
   Remove every 2 to 3 days to check the wound. After observation, apply a new product. When applying a new product, rinse the wound with tap water if possible.
   ※ Ensure there are no signs of infection.
