Roihi-tsuko Loxoprofen is a warming-type medicated tape containing the analgesic and anti-inflammatory ingredient loxoprofen sodium hydrate. Apply once daily to painful affected areas such as lower back pain, shoulder pain associated with stiff shoulders, joint pain, muscle pain, tenosynovitis, elbow pain, bruises, and sprains. As an odorless type, it is a topical analgesic and anti-inflammatory medicine whose scent is less noticeable even around others. This medicine does not treat the underlying disease causing pain or swelling; it temporarily eases pain, swelling, and similar symptoms at the affected site.

Peel off the surface separator (film) and apply to the affected area once daily. Strictly follow the dosage and administration. Do not use in children under 15 years of age. Do not use more than 4 patches per day. This medicine does not treat the disease causing pain or swelling; it treats only the symptoms such as pain and swelling, so use it only on symptomatic areas. If you are sweating or the affected area is wet, wipe thoroughly before use. People with sensitive skin should, before use, apply a small piece as a guide to a sensitive area on the inner arm for at least half a day and confirm that symptoms such as rash, redness, itching, or irritation do not occur. Be careful when using together with heat sources (kotatsu, electric carpet, hand warmers, electric blankets, etc.), as stimulation may become stronger. When bathing, always remove the patch at least 30 minutes beforehand, as the application site may sting. Also, wait at least 30 minutes after bathing before use.
⚠️ Precautions for Use
- Do not do the following (failure to follow may worsen current symptoms or make side effects more likely)
- The following people should not use this product. (1) Those who have had allergic symptoms to this product or its ingredients. (2) Those who have had asthma after using this product or other antipyretic analgesics, cold medicines, or topical analgesic/anti-inflammatory medicines. (3) Children under 15 years of age.
- Do not apply to the following sites. (1) Around the eyes, mucous membranes, etc. (2) Eczema, rash, or open wounds. (3) Affected areas with athlete’s foot, ringworm, or similar conditions, or areas that are suppurating.
- Do not use other topical analgesic/anti-inflammatory medicines while using this product.
- Do not use continuously for more than 2 weeks. This product temporarily eases pain. If symptoms such as pain continue, stop use and seek medical attention.
- Consult: The following people should consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered seller before use. (1) Those under a physician’s care. (2) Those who have had allergic symptoms to medicines, etc. (3) Pregnant women or those who may be pregnant. (4) Elderly persons. (5) Those diagnosed with bronchial asthma.
- If the following symptoms appear after use, they may be side effects. Stop use immediately and consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered seller with this leaflet. Skin: rash/redness, itching, swelling, stinging sensation, irritation, blisters, bruising, pigmentation / Digestive system: stomach discomfort, epigastric pain / Other: edema
- In rare cases, serious symptoms such as shock (anaphylaxis) may occur. If skin itching, hives, hoarseness, sneezing, throat itching, difficulty breathing, palpitations, clouding of consciousness, etc. appear soon after use, seek medical attention immediately.
- Diarrhea or soft stools may occur after use. If they persist or worsen, stop use and consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered seller with this leaflet.
- If symptoms do not improve after 5–6 days of use, stop use and consult a physician, pharmacist, or registered seller with this leaflet (another condition may be present).
- Excipients include liquid paraffin, styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer, hydrogenated rosin glycerol ester, polyisobutylene, dibutylhydroxytoluene (BHT), fragrance (nonylic acid vanillylamide), and other ingredients.
