What kind of medicine is Hainousan?
Hai-no-san is a Chinese herbal medicine that improves pus and inflammation. It is recommended for gingivitis, which causes the gums to swell and pus to come out. Hai-no-san is made from three types of herbal medicine: pheasant fruit, peony, and bellflower. It is a prescription that was written in the Chinese book "Jingui Yaolue" from around the 3rd century, and it works to calm inflammation and swelling in the affected area with suppuration and to drain pus.
These easy-to-swallow tablets are made from carefully selected herbal medicines.
JPS Pharmaceutical carries out integrated production at its own factory in Tochigi Prefecture. The purchased herbal medicines are chopped and blended, extracted in the same way as Chinese herbal medicines are boiled, and then the extract is made into tablets. We are particular about not only the herbal medicines but also the water used for extraction, drawing water from the Kinugawa River and refining it in the factory.
