Moderately sweet azuki bean yokan,
Wrapped in moist and soft Baumkuchen.
Baumkuchen that conveys the simple deliciousness of eggs
The moisture of the yokan blends in, giving a unique moist texture.
Easy to eat, bite-sized.
A flavor you never get tired of eating, deeply satisfying.
Somehow nostalgic even for the local people of Hakata,
A souvenir that makes you happy to receive.

The year 1972, when "Hakata no Onna" was born, was three years before the Sanyo Shinkansen opened.
Fumiichi Hashimoto, founder of Nitsurukudo, pondered "a taste blending Japanese and Western styles suitable for the new era,"
I came up with the combination of Japanese yokan and Western Baumkuchen.
"Hakata Obi Cord Chikuzen Shibori Ayumusugata Yanagikoshi"
Imagining a verse from the Hakata folk song, I looked around Hakata doll shops,
The doll I finally found decorated the wrapping paper.
Since 1972,
Even now, it has become a classic Hakata souvenir,
Based on accumulated experience and data, we continue to pursue "even more deliciousness."
Please enjoy the famous confectionery proudly made by Nitsurukudo.
