● Features
The three-layer structure of tears that retains moisture
Tears are formed by three layers: oil layer, water layer, and mucin layer. Each tear layer plays a role in keeping the surface of the eye moist.
When tears are insufficient…
When the balance of the three tear layers is disrupted, dry spots (areas lacking tears) appear. This causes the corneal surface to be exposed, making the eyes dry and more susceptible to strain. As a result, the cornea can be damaged, causing discomfort when wearing contact lenses and eye fatigue.
"Rohto Dry Aid Contact a" is an ultra-high viscosity eye drop with a thick liquid. It retains moisture by forming a tear film, effectively relieving dryness that causes discomfort during lens wear.
