Three natural herbs enhance the effectiveness
"Acess" is Japan's first natural herb-derived periodontal medicine. During its development, about 30,000 microbial tests were conducted using approximately 200 types of plant-based herbal medicines. As a result, it contains three herbs—chamomile, rhatany, and myrrh—known for excellent hemostatic, anti-inflammatory, astringent, deodorizing, and antibacterial effects.
Chamomile(Chamomile)

The scientific name of chamomile is Matricaria chamomilla L., meaning "apple of the earth," written in kanji as 【加蜜列 (Kamitsure)】. It is an annual herb of the Asteraceae family, about 50cm tall, native from Europe to northern Asia. The dried flowers, blooming from May to October, are widely used as herbs (folk medicine).
[Main ingredients] Chamazulene, azulene, nonylic acid, caprylic acid, etc.
[Action] Anti-inflammatory, antihistamine, antibacterial, etc.
Rhatany (Rhatany)

A low shrub of the legume family from South America. Traditionally used in Peru as a dental preservative and mouthwash astringent. Rhatany shows almost no antibacterial activity against gram-negative facultative anaerobic intestinal bacteria but has a broad antibacterial spectrum against oral pathogens.
[Main ingredients] Tannin 10-20%, rhatany
[Action] Astringent, antibacterial, antiseptic, hemostatic, anti-inflammatory
Myrrh (Myrrh)

Known as myrrh in Japan, it is a low shrub of the Burseraceae family. Used by ancient Egyptians as a preservative for mummies. Contains phenolic resin and resin acid, which help reduce swelling. It is listed in the Japanese Pharmacopoeia as a representative natural herbal astringent.
[Main ingredients] Phenolic resin, resin acid, etc.
[Action] Astringent, analgesic, anti-swelling, antibacterial, antiseptic
