Normalize ciliary movement in the throat

Ciliary movement: the barrier function of the throat that is essential for good health

The throat has a barrier function called "ciliary movement" that expels foreign substances such as dust, germs, chemicals, and pollen that enter the body when we breathe.
Thanks to their work, we are able to stay healthy.
However, when the ciliary movement weakens due to cold or dry air, foreign bodies cannot be expelled. Normally, foreign bodies are expelled by coughing and producing phlegm, but this can make the coughing and producing phlegm worse or cause inflammation in the throat.
Inflammation can further weaken ciliary movement, creating a vicious cycle that not only causes but also prolongs poor health.

How to take

Ryukakusan is a medicine whose herbal ingredients act directly on the mucous membrane of the throat, activating ciliary movement in the throat.
If you take it with water, the active ingredient in the throat mucosa will be washed away, so please take it without water. Also, please refrain from eating or drinking for 15 to 30 minutes after taking it.

Features

Ryukakusan is a throat medicine whose main ingredients are herbal medicines (platycodon, senega, apricot kernel, and licorice) that activate the cough suppressant and expectorant effects.
The inner surface of the human trachea is covered with ciliated cells, whose cilia constantly vibrate at a speed of about 1,500 times per minute, and secrete mucus from the inner wall of the trachea. Dust, dirt, and bacteria that pass through the airways are absorbed into this mucus and expelled from the body by the vibration of the cilia. This is nature's purification process.
Overuse of the throat, smoking, or breathing in polluted air can cause the throat to become inflamed and sore, and phlegm builds up, weakening the throat's ability to purify the air and causing coughing. If you take Ryukakusan at such times, the active ingredient saponin glycosides in bellflower and senega will increase mucus secretion from the inner surface of the trachea, activate cilia movement, remove phlegm, soothe coughs, and ease inflammation.
