Speedy and effective healing using moist healing (moist therapy).
Wounds heal through the action of a clear liquid, known as "body fluid (exudate)," that comes from the wound. The "Healing PowerTM" series uses a special material called hydrocolloid to tightly seal the wound and absorb and retain the body fluid. This creates an optimal moist environment for healing and promotes the skin's natural regeneration.

Prevents scabbing and alleviates pain.
The Moist PadTM serves as a substitute for scabs and prevents the wound from drying out, thereby avoiding scabbing and promoting smooth healing. It minimizes the chance of leaving scars and alleviates pain.

Did you know? The "body fluid" that comes from a wound
has healing properties.
When you get injured, body fluid is released from the wound, containing factors that aid healing. This is known as "moist healing (moist therapy)," which maximizes the effects of the body fluid to promote quick healing.
- Prevents the wound from drying out, maintaining a moist environment where body fluid is adequately preserved.
- Healing factors become active, allowing the skin to regenerate quickly and facilitating healing.
Moist Healing
A new standard in wound care that has gained attention in recent years. It is the "moist healing" method (moist therapy), which promotes healing without forming scabs. Proposed by Dr. Winter in the UK in 1962, it has since been studied extensively and is widely used in medical settings today.
The traditional method of healing that created scabs
was called "dry healing."
- When the wound is exposed to air, the body fluid dries out and cells die, causing the wound to form a scab.
- The limited body fluid left under the scab inhibits full healing capabilities, resulting in slower recovery.
