Did you know? The "body fluid" released from wounds
has healing powers.

When injured, body fluid is released from the wound, containing factors that help heal the injury. Making the most of this body fluid to expedite healing is referred to as "Moist Healing (Moisture Therapy)".

By preventing the wound from drying out, a sufficient amount of body fluid is maintained, creating a moist environment.

This allows the repairing factors to work actively, leading to the rapid regeneration of the skin and quick healing of the wound.

Recently recognized and becoming widely accepted, "Moist Healing" (Moisture Therapy) treats wounds without forming scabs. Proposed by Dr. Winter in the UK in 1962, research has progressed, and it is now widely implemented in medical settings.

The traditional method of healing by forming scabs is known as "Dry Healing".

When the wound is exposed to air, the body fluid dries up and cells die, causing the wound to get covered with a scab.

The limited body fluid left beneath the scab doesn't allow sufficient repairing capabilities to function, leading to slower healing.

Fits around fingers and joints, adhering well and resistant to water

The tape part uses a high-density polyurethane non-woven fabric, "Careleave_TM Material", which is approximately half the fiber thickness of conventional materials. It fits snugly around joints and does not peel off easily, minimizing gaps between the fingers and the tape, which helps prevent water ingress during tasks.

Gentle on skin outside the wound

The wound is securely sealed with hydrocolloid. The area outside the wound is made of a highly breathable high-density polyurethane non-woven fabric, which reduces skin irritation and stress around the wound.

Low-irritation adhesive that minimizes skin cell removal

When removed, the shedding of skin surface cells can also cause skin irritation. Careleave_TM Healing Power_TM minimizes the shedding of skin cells, reducing irritation from replacement.

How to Use

1　Before applying

1. 
   Oh no! A wound!

2. 
   Immediately wash the wound with clean running water
   ※ Use clean water for washing

3. 
   After washing, pat dry!
   ※ Avoid using antiseptics, disinfectants, or creams together

4. 
   Select a pad size larger than the wound

5. 
   Let's apply it now!

 

2　When applying

1. 
   Peel off the center paper

2. 
   Apply it to the wound

3. 
   Peel off the remaining paper

4. 
   Ensure it adheres tightly
   

5. 
   For elbows or knees, apply while slightly bent

 

3　After applying

1. 
   After a while, the Moist Pad_TM will gel and swell white
   ※ The Moist Pad_TM absorbs and retains the body fluid (exudate) coming from the wound.

 

4　When peeling off or replacing

1. 
   To avoid damaging the skin, peel slowly along the direction of hair growth

2. 
   Peel off every 2-3 days to check the wound. After checking, apply a new product. When applying a new product, wash the wound with running water as much as possible.
   ※ Ensure there are no symptoms indicating infection.
